Taylor...

The gang...

Too much fun...

Wish me luck!

We leave tomorrow morning for Freedom, Indiana. They are having an all vw 1/8 mile race. It should prove to be an exciting adventure. I can't wait to race an actual vw. We're bringing dad's car too because they're also having a car show. Wish me luck, I'll let you know how it goes.

On a side note, dad's heart doctor called today to let him know that his defibulator (?) has been recalled. So him and I went up to the office so that they could run some tests on him and make sure his was working properly. And it was. He was going to have to get it replaced in October anyways because the battery is almost low and apparently you have to get them replaced every 5-7 years anyways. So, 2 out of like 300,000 people who have this device have had it malfunction and they've died. The doctor said that he would probably be fine, but no guarantees, and then asked dad if he was a risk taker. We both just looked at each other and smiled. Mom on the other hand did not think it was funny. So, looks like he'll be going in sometime in the next couple weeks to get that taken care of. The bad part is that he has to be in the hospital for 5 days, two days before hand to thicken up his blood and two days for the procedure and one day to thin him back out before he can come home. So, everyone say your prayers and things will be fine. I'll let you know before he goes in.

A lot of chaos lately, I won't pain everyone with the story, but let me know if you're interested and I'll be happy to explain.

Like I said, wish me luck on the races and pray that we make it there and back safely.

Until then,
You know you love me,

Blah Blah Blah

If something exciting was happening, then I would update more often, but it's not. Saturday night was pretty fun though. We played music for some friends of ours wedding who got married at the racetrack. We were drinking champaign by the bottle from the bottle. It was fun until it was 5:30am and we were just walking in the RV to go to sleep and then we had to be awake to do our racing at 8:00am. That part sucked, but the rest was fun.

My wife and I are back together, so that's good. We kissed and made up and hung out last night. We went grocery shopping and to drop some pictures off at John's parents house. How rediculous that was. We then came home, ate all the new food that we had just bought at the grocery store and watched the movie "Hitch." It was sooooooooooo funny. We laughed the entire time. I would definately recommend it.

Other than that, soccer was good. We didn't win, but I did score a goal. I talked to my buddy Mike earlier this week, and we got all caught up on things, I hadn't talked with him in a long time, so it was good to catch up. Stephanie is back from Maine and today is the first day of summer.

What's everyone doing for 4th of July this year? I'm not sure yet on what my plans are, so if anyone is doing something really fun, please let me know.

Take Care,

P.S. A quick hello to my good buddy, Randy. Now get back to work!!! Hahahahah.

another week checked off the calendar...

Another week in life to check off the big calendar. Nothing even too exciting this week. Stephanie and I went out again on Wednesday, Heggar got a new apartment down by Tower Grove Park and it was Bob's birthday so we had to celebrate, Bob's way. It was a good time from what I can remember. Illinois was Thursday. Racing was Friday. Chloe and Mitch were Saturday. And, soccer was Sunday. We won our game and then Kim and I stayed and played with the next team, we tied that game. Oh yeah and I got some raft floating in, and I'm sunburnt. All over.

So, I think my divorce might be final. I tried to call tonight but with no avail. I left a message but that's it. It's a sad time in my life right now. It's funny how people can be so hypocritical (not quite sure how to spell that). But, that's life, and life's not fair.

That's about it. Really. Not too exciting huh? I've got a list of children I need to photograph, so I just need to call them tomorrow and get some times set up and also talk to my favorite Aunt Patty and see if I can borrow her camera.

Take Care,
You know you love me,

Good Times...

So camping went great, like I knew it would. I made it there and back with minimal problems. My companion was more fun that I expected them to be. I also won two attendance prizes, tickets to the sneak preview of Herbie Fully Loaded and some VW DVD, also the bus got plastered with maganetic flowers and peace signs and got his picture taken for the Mid-America catalog(?). Camping was SOOO fun and I can't wait to go again. Sleeping in it was better than expected.

Stephanie called me tonight and we went out to Hot Shots to watch the Cardinals game and drink some beer, and beer we drank. It's always a good time with her, especially when you don't get charged for one of your pitchers of beer. BONUS!!

So, it looks like my wife and I are getting a divorce. Divorce sucks. I'll let you all know how it plays out.

I'll include some pictures of the Effingham show when I get a chance. It was really hot but a lot of fun.

Take Care,
You know you love me,

Camping here we come...

So, the Nickle and I are getting ready to leave for Effingham to go to Funfest 2005. I can't hardly contain my excitement. The bus is loaded down and the fuel tank is full. Say your prayers to the VW gods that we make it there and back safely, (I have no doubt). I have had a lot go on lately, but not a lot of extra time to actually sit down and type, so hopefully when I return I will update everyone on what's been going on.

Until Then, Take Care,
You know you love me,
*;)

P.S. Just a quick note for someone, they know who they are, even though you don't love me right now, I still love you and I'm thinking about you.
