GUESS WHAT I GOT...
Guess...comon guess...you know you want to. What have I wanted all my life, other than my cars and the camera? THATS RIGHT A GOLDEN RETRIEVER PUPPY DOG!!! My very best friend in the whole wide world presented me tonight with the greatest gift lately. I'm not sure on a name yet, its a her. Tricia and I were thinking Dojha. Lemme know if you have any other ideas. She's sooooo cute. Thank you thank you thank you. Here's some pics.

School part 1.
Oh school, how I've missed thee. LOL. So as the first week of school wraps up, I have plenty of things to think about and do. My classes shouldn't be too bad, just labor intensive. Here's my classes, because I know you were dying to know!
*Drawing III
*Book Arts
*Critical Thinking
*Ceramics II
*Photography V
The only class that I think is going to be a problem is the Drawing III class. I tell ya, I don't know how they let me pass drawing II, I can barely draw a stick man!! I can draw you some pretty cool abstract shit, but nothing hardly that resembles an actual object. The professor for that class is really scatter-brained and he's hard to handle. Plus, to make matters even more complicated Liz and I have that class together, so you know nothing gets done. We just laugh and carry on the whole time.
Ceramics should be pretty cool, we're going to learn how to make some plates and bowls and lids and such, I'm also going to continue on with my volkswagen theme that I started last semester.
I need some ideas on what to make a book about in Book Arts. We need to have our text by Monday. Now mind you, I'm not writing a book, I'm simply designing a book. So it can be someone else's text. Like my one friend is using some lyrics from a song for her whole book. It doesn't matter. You can have one line across the bottom of each page and that can be the text for your book. I just want to have something interesting. I have to design the colors and fonts and ideas and the binding and so on.
Nothing too exciting I know, but just an update of what was going on. Let me know what you think.

Ultimate Update
Sorry it's been so long between posts. I've been real busy. Okay, so, where to start. Um...Nickel has moved outta his apartment and is back up at school. Far far away, so that sucks. We had our family reunion here at the house a couple of weeks ago, that went pretty well, the only nice day outta the whole month and we got it. I came in second place at the Volksbash all VW race over at Gateway. I won $350.00 that went straight down to Archway to help pay off some of my debt down there. They also have my motor right now. Daddy and I took it out earlier this week because something inside it was knocking pretty bad. I'm trying to come up with some extra sponsors to help get us to and from Indianapolis (?). The 24th of September is the finals of the Volksbash and I really really really wanna go. So any ideas on some sponsors please let me know. Tricia has come on our team to help us play soccer. It's been amusing at least! (just kidding Trish you did great) I also decided to make a giant purchase. I bought myself the new Canon Digital Rebel XT. It's an 8 mega pixel camera that's top of the line right now. I'll be in debt for a while, but at least I'm happy. Other than that nothing real exciting. Getting ready to go back to school. I'm taking 4 studio classes, so we'll see how much free time that leaves me.

What does the future hold...
Well, I survived my weekend, or more importantly the children survived the weekend...lol. It went pretty good. We said goodbye to Stephanie who left us to go back to Colorado. That was sad. It seemed like she just got here. Summer is going by so fast.
Nickel is getting ready to move. We havent really done any packing, and I have a full weekend with my family reunion and a big vw race, so he's got a lot to do on his own. He's going to Florida next week, and then I guess back to school early. It'll be a sad time, but everything will work out according to how it's supposed to, I guess. I just try not to think about it. Outta sight, outta mind.
On a funnier note, we've got his big industrial saran wrap for the tires of the racecars, and yesterday Alex and I grabbed Cory right as he was coming out of the bathroom from getting his swimsuit on and we saran wrapped him all up. His arms were all bent and pressed aganist his body and he could hardly move. He got up the stairs and outside to dad who had to cut him out while Alex and I were crying from laughing so hard. I had no time for pictures, but we plan to saran wrap him to a chair next, so I'll get a pic then.
Well, I gotta go and finish getting the house ready for this weekend.
