Times change people...

A different kind of blog entry for me. I just wanted to reflect a little bit on how people change. It's likind of funny how fast some people can change. Within just a few months things can go from "a-ok, let's party" to "hey, how are you? How have you been?" It's kind of dishartening (?) if you think about it. I recently attended a party in which I used to frequent but this time is was different. Funny different too. It went from being a great time to just being another party. It didn't make me feel very good, but then again, time changes people, and that's just something I suppose I have to accept, like it or not. Life goes on and people grow up (I think).

Bad night

Had a bad night a real bad night my mom and dad came and picked me up from the baseball game. Im gonna go and lay down and prya that rtomrrow is a better day...

Days go by...

I recieved my wastegate and turbo in the mail this week, so dad, Alex and I spent the earlier part of today putting it on. Hopefully after a quick carb adjustment the car will run well. Keep your fingers crossed. This is a big weekend. It's the NOPI Nationals over at Gateway. We run Friday Saturday and Sunday. It's gonna be hot out.

Last weekend was fun, camping at Lake Carlyle and going on Uncle Steve's boat, waterskiing.

One more month of summer left and then school starts up. Looking at alot of change in the near future. Hopefully it will be for the better. But, you know what they say, things always get worse before they get better, so... Other than that, things have been going alright.

Redneck yacht club

Nothing new I guess. Talk about a bus of a time. Stephanie and I took the bus to the Lake of the Ozarks last weekend. They have a bunch of construction on 44 by Cuba so we took some other random way. Well needless to say Steph didn't know where to turn off the secret way so we went all the way to Jefferson City and then to the lake. It was a little over a 4 hour bus tour, but hey, the bus made it and made it well. We did have to stop and get fuel half way there but that's alright. Steph wanted to sleep in the bus so Saturday night after our bottle of margarita mix and some beers we went and crashed in the bus all night..it wasn't too bad, we plugged a fan into the power inverter and it was quite nice, close but nice. So earlier that day me and Steph decided we wanted to go boating and her little brother Scottie and his buddy Nick wanted to go also, so we went and then I wanted to go tubing. No big deal. I got out on the tube and off we went. 15 minutes later I was tired of tubing but the boys wouldn't look back at me so I could motion to them that I was finished. I later learned that they found my Cosmo magazine that I was reading and were engulfing themselves in it and reading about why women don't wear underwear. So we hit a big wave and I flew off, but the boat kept going and going and going.... I was like "shit" so I swam outta the main channel and over by some guys dock so that I didn't get hit by any boats and then like 2 minutes later here comes the boat flying around the corner and Stephanie was yelling so loud even I could hear her. So, the boys got in trouble and we went back and docked the boat. It's funny now, but as the boat was going outta sight I didn't think it was quite so funny.

On a different note, I finished this really cool video of Taylor. It took me like 4 full days of work, but I think it turned out real nice.

We're going to try and go camping this weekend, me and Nickel and Steph and Tricia and John I hope. Who knows but it would be real fun.

Soccer resumes this Sunday and I start softball next Monday. Can't wait!

That's all for now,

Chippendales on my mind...

Talk about the funniest thing that I've seen lately was last night at Harrahs. Stephanie and I recieved two tickets to see the Chippendales from my beautiful grandma. We got there and got our seats and then went to get a drink from the bar and guess who walks in? Julie and Maggie (for those who don't know the four of us plus one more (Liz) were inseperatable (?) in our younger years). It was so great. The show started and Stephanie and I could not stop laughing. Four of them came out in leather pant and shirts dancing like Backstreet Boys or something. I rolled my eyes at Steph and told her that this show better spice up soon because this was lame. And sure enough it did just as they were ripping their clothes off. After a couple more dance routines all the boys came out into the crowd to dance for dollars. You'd wave your dollar around and then one would come and hump all over you and you got to shove your dollar down his pants. What makes this even funnier is that I bet 50% of the crowd was my grandma's age! There was this one grandma at the end of our row who had more dollars then she knew what to do with. She just kept waving them around and getting humped all over! Finally one of the guys made her stand up and he bent her over her chair and pretended like he was getting her from behind, all the while smacking her on the ass!! Mind you this lady was like 70 years old!! I never laughed so hard. That grandma spent the rest of the show chain smoking. So, needless to say all of us got our "dollar's worth" of the show and we then proceeded downstairs to have some drinks at the Ibar. It's Harrahs new bar. It was pretty cool. We met up with some of the dancers later in the Voodoo lounge and had some more drinks. So, overall the most fun I've had lately and I couldn't have asked to have it with a better group of people.

For me the summer is just beginning. Last week was Carlyle Lake. This weekend is Lake of the Ozarks and then back to Carlyle Lake next weekend for camping. Heck yes bus!!

I need to get serious sometime soon, my debit card is running out of money. No good I tell you, no good. But for now, tubing, waterskiing, waverunning and camping sound like a pretty good idea.
